Starting today, the forum server will begin transfering all data to a new and better server. Perhaps more stable than it already is and hopefully soon with more features for me to play with. I will quote a few statements from the Forumotion staff, Typlo, about this massive move:

"...This change will take place within hours and we are confident about the result.
These new servers are ultra-efficient and will provide you with what we've promised : faster forums, more efficient, 99.9% uptime and enhanced security for your data.

During this migration, your forums will suffer delays. Do not worry, your forums do not risk anything, this maneuver is controlled and your forums should regain their vitality very quickly..."

To compensate for all this difficulty WGC have to endure, Forumotion promised us a gift as soon as the move is complete. They didn't tell me what that 'gift' will be, so I guess we will have to wait and see what it is soon.

On another news, WGC logo is almost complete and after I tweak a few odd things, I will post it at the forum header for all to see. Prototype design have been posted in the Arts and Crafts section. The logo will look a bit like the one I posted with a few small changes pointed out by our venerable staffs.

For the first time ever in WGC history, we now have a Webmaster to cater our web design and forum themes. Please give a warm welcome to Bersimon. He lives somewhere in South America and he recently took interest to join the WGC staff to tweak the forum around. Don't worry his resume is good and he have experience being a Damage Control Moderator. I don't what that is, but that job sounded cool enough to become WGC Webmaster. If something feels a bit out of place or you think the current forum theme sucks badly, write a message to him and be sure to leave him a cookie at the door.

Four days ago, I stumbled upon an interesting game that plays a bit like the classic Risk. It's called Supremacy 1914 and it's a real-time strategy game played in your web browser. It is run by Java, so everyone should be able to play it. If you are interested, you may sign-up to play the game and join the alliance formed by a group of people including me, called Coalition of States (CoS). Just send me a Private Message about it and I will give you permission to view the hidden alliance forum. Those who join CoS will be given a special forum signature to use, I have finished the design and will post the template for public use. CoS currently operates in WGC, however, depending on the public vote and opinion, we may have to move the forum somewhere else.

About my forum rpg projects, I'm afraid I have to put them all on hold. Seriously, all this work writing and designing stuff for my rpg is startign to take a toll on my fun times. Although making a game sounds fun, but you can't escape the idea that it's actually a work that you have to do. As some of you know, work tend to become boring and not fun at all. Lores and Legends rpg will still move along, I didn't stop playing the game, instead I just stop developing it for a while.

Well that's it for now and my hand is pretty tired to type all this in the dark. It's amazing that I typed all this without an error of spelling. I guess I missed writing in the Notice Board. I will see you all around and keep the spam threads rolling ya'll.
