I have an idea. Been thinking about this for a long while and I hope things might work well if the players can behave and follow the rules and guidelines.
I know that there are several groups of role players out there and some would enjoy a story driven game and some don't. So my idea is to split the game modes into two; story-telling and heavy action.
However, both will play at the same world and at the same time frame which I will divide into seasons; fall, winter, spring, and summer. Players in both world will influence the world together depending on how they shape their story/adventures. Such world shaping events will be decided when the season ends. When the next season begins, the events have been laid out.
To do this, I need GMs for both modes to give me status report so I can give them the event/quest for the next season. This may appeal to more people of both new and veteran to the game. As always, the problem will always be put upon getting players and advertising the game. If I can get a few people here to help me out, I could make a simple rpg to play for now and add some new system/features later as the game moves along.
One thing that I don't have is time, so making the best use of it has always been a headache to me for the past months of developing LnL.
I also decided to encourage people to use the wiki to publish their own character information there. With the wiki tools, players can freely customise their character page and make it more as part of the world itself.
Story based mode will continue where I left out about the Search for the King's Son. The action based/d20 mode will begin a new on the same town but different play style.
