You are to take charge of a battered and isolated squad, helping them survive until reinforcements arrive. Then you are to fulfill the squad's original mission, which is to establish a powerful communications relaying node in this location and to protect it until HQ takes over the facility.



Primary objectives:

1) Establish 4 antennas in a straight line.

2) Survive until wave 51, after which HQ will assume control and the mission must end.



Secondary objectives:

1) Station 4 signalers to man your new communications line. All signalers you deploy will be commandeered by the HQ at the end of the mission and will not be returned to your battalion.



Conditions:

1) Begin the deployment with the Hasty Defense option.

2) You cannot deploy units, ranger train or use support options until you get the menoeuvre message or you get to wave 30 (whichever comes first), signaling the arrival of reinforcements. You are allowed infinite heroing and grenades, but weapons are limited to 1 change per troop.

3) Provide a screenshot taken at the moment you receive the manoeuvre message or reach wave 30.

4) Take a final screenshot of your setup before surrendering the command to HQ.

5) If by the time HQ takes charge (wave 51) you do not have the antennas set up and running, they will not need you anymore and the mission will fail for you.



Tips:

1) During the early waves, try to find some adequate cover for your units, advancing if necessary.

2) If you successfully preserve the life of all your squad members for 10 minutes (thus earning a manoeuvre TP or the ribbon itself, if it's your first time), it will shave 10 waves off your wait for reinforcements, as it usually comes by wave 20. Otherwise, you will have to wait until wave 30.

3) Taunting will speed up the wave count, but it will not affect the maneuvre ribbon, which is time-based.

4) Keep the antennas well away and protected from explosions. Sandbags might come in handy.

5) Do not deploy signalers unless you're trying for the secondary objective. They will be taken by HQ even if you do not meet the quota.

6) The random nature of MnB will affect you very much in this mission. Use as much strategy as you can to keep the wits about you.
